Another Basic Grey Challenge!

Here I am again with another Basic Grey Card! I made this one for my son's gf's birthday.

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CASONDRA! Hope you have a happy one and love your card! Wish I had the cash to buy you a beautiful gift, but alas, that's not in the cards at the moment. : )

I also am sending this card in for Challenge 23 on the Basic Grey Challenge Blog I mentioned before. There is a link to it under my scrappy places. Challenge 23 is to use a 2 color combo plus white or cream. There were 3 choices, so I choice brown and pink. Of course you also had to use a BG product. I had a terrible time editing the pic of my card. The solid brown pieces just don't look brown to me, but believe me - everything in the card is pink (different shades, but pink) or brown or white.

The background paper is from the BG Bittersweet Collection (brown and pink), the base card is pink (Bazzill), the solid brown cs is from the Bittersweet Card Kit. The white paper ribbon is K & Co Smitten. Various pink flowers and brads. A few faux diamonds for bling. The sentiment was stamped with Close To My Heart Dasiy White and then embossed with Antique Pink embossing powder. I love the stamp. The extra tall cake is from a company I am not familiar with - Outlines Rubber Stamp Co. I stamped with brown and embossed with a sparkly brown ep. I colored it in with various markers - pink and brown. Also chalked a couple of sections of the cake with pink. Hope you enjoyed stopping by. Please leave comments.
